Sorry it's been so long!

Dear Family,

I have been so busy that I haven't had time to get on the computer...except to read Adam's emails that I haven't been sending on! I'll try to do better......but no promises!

It was fun to see everyone and Brian's wedding...which was definitely the most inspiring sealing I have EVER been to. I felt bad we had to run out so fast, but we had to get back for the New Year's party.

Saralyn is anxiously awaiting Cayden's arrival. She is due Wednesday and is hoping to wait until Thursday for Grampa's birthday.

Bethany starts her last semester this week. She will graduate in May with a Bachelors in Child and Family Science and wants to go on to get a Masters in Family Counseling.

Adam is doing great. He was transferred just before Christmas to Saltillo in Coahuila. He LOVES it there. He has had a series of lazy companions and this one is somewhat better. A little disobedient, but at least wants to work.

Jalenna turns 16 on Feb. 1. The fun begins! She has a boy that has been patiently waiting for her to turn 16. Should be an adventure!

Amanda has been really busy. She went to All State for band the first of January. It was a great experience for her. She is improving all the time in basketball but has yet to make her first points. She is an animal on defense...gets several blocks and several fouls every game, but she needs to work on her offense. This weekend she was crowned the Freshman Winter Ball Princess. She looked gorgeous.

Tyler is busy with drum lessons and scouts and lots of other annoying boy things! He is getting big and has developed quite the sense of humor.

I think that about catches you up on all our excitement! Hopefully I'll have fun news this week!

Love you all,
Lynda

Just Catchin' Up

Hey! How is everyone? Sorry it's been forever since I've been on here! Things have been crazy with the holidays and everything as I'm sure it was for everyone! We just recently got home from Universal Studios for our 1 year aniversary (Can you believe it's already been a year??!) and after this weekend when we go to Vegas for Mike's brother's wedding, we're hoping things will start to settle down! It was good to see those of you we got to see at Brian's wedding. It's been too long! I just wanted to say hi and I hope everyone is doing well! It was good to see pictures of everyone's Christmas...maybe I can figure out how to get some on here sometime soon. We have some from Brian's wedding that are beautiful! I love you all!!

P.S. Aunt Jolene...I don't think we're EVER going to get to have our little sign making party! I'm going crazy wanting to learn! Do you think you could give me a few tips online?

Also...does anyone know a good optometrist down here?

The pictures were great.
I am hoping to be able to come to Ridds on the 13th..may I ask why? we are waiting till then?
Also when do we get to celebrate the birthdays?
I have been sick so I missed the chocolate bar ..what was it? I went home after the sealing and went straight to bed and have been fighting this stupid thing ever since....anywho...
That is all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVON & COURTNEY!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVON & COURTNEY! I just looked at the calender and saw that it was their birthday! I enjoyed seeing everyone at Christmas. We were sorry to miss the sealing but heard it was awesome! Our trip to California was awesome! We spent three nights at Universal Studios and 3 nights at Knotts Berry Farm. We also went to Malibu beach with the kids. They really thought the beach was cool even though it was pretty windy and cold. We got to see the house that Lonny rented from up on the Malibu mountain. The view was so awesome! We stayed at the Knotts Berry Farm Hotel which had only 15 rooms that were themed Snoopy with Snoopy Tuck in Service. Snoopy comes and tucks the kids in bed at 8:30 every night. The kids thought that was so cool! Hope everyone had a great New Years. Look forward to seeing everyone at Devon's ordination. Here is a picture of us at the hotel with Snoopy. Lonny got Luke that cowboy hat. Everyone was laughing at Luke because he looked so cute. The hat kept falling down to his shoulders. The only way to keep it on was to stick his ears out to hold it on. Anyway, he looked hilarious! (P.S. mom's burros were yummy!)

No one else is ever on here!

But that is okay. I have resisted blogging - hoping that someone would want to fill us in on their holiday.

It was so nice to see everyone this past weekend. It was weird - I have been with each one of my siblings in the last week but we have not all been in the same place at the same time. For any of you who missed the sealing of Brian and Melody - it was great. It was one of the most spirit filled sealings I have ever been too. The reception was lovely too - I am all for a chocolate buffet. Brian and Melody looked so happy and so cute together.

Today is Devon and Courtney's 12th birthday!! I can hardly believe it. I think I was able to let everyone know about Devon's ordination - but just in case - I will put it here too. Devon is going to be ordained a Deacon - here at our house on Saturday, January, 13th. I'm not sure of the time yet - I need to call Joe and see if he can make it and what time works for him. I'm pretty sure it will be in the early evening sometime. I will let everyone know the details when we have them.

I hope everyone had a great holiday season. We aren't always able to all be together but I hope you know that I love everyone of you.

Jolene
